Massive Attack’s Meltdown

Massive Attack Meltdown

Sometimes touts have their uses, I managed to get a ticket for Massive Attack’s Southbank gig on Saturday. The ticket cost 65 quid, as thats all I had in my wallet. The tout wanted 85 but when I said all I had was 65, plus a bit of persuasion, I managed to get my ticket.

The gig was a great mixture of new tracks form their forthcoming new album, plus all the old classics. The seat I had was located up in the gods, so I could hardly see much of what was going on on stage, but its the sounds that matter!

I reckon best track of the night was Angel, the bassline in that sounded awesome. And for best track for getting the audience up and dancing about, that was Unfinished Sympathy.

Upcoming gigs…

June 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Seems I’ve missed out on more gigs than I’ve got tickets to, but at least I got a ticket to see Unkle at Somerset House on Saturday 12 July.

Missed out on seeing Justice the night before at the same location, as not tickets were available.

Also recently missed out on tickets for Massive Attack’s gig at Southbank Meltdown on 14 June, plus Radiohead in Victoria Park later this month.
